Families, friends and adventure seekers can experience Go Ape after dark with the exciting Sundown Adventures. Returning for 2026, this special sunset high ropes experience takes the thrills of Go Ape into the evening, with forest views at sunset, glowing lights and exhilarating obstacles among the treetops. It’s a memorable way to enjoy an outdoor adventure with a difference, with sessions available for participants aged six and over who meet the required height and supervision requirements.

Go Ape is one of the UK’s leading outdoor adventure providers, offering a wide choice of activities across its woodland locations. As well as Sundown Adventures, visitors can enjoy Treetop Challenge, Treetop Adventure, Treetop Adventure Plus, Nets Adventure, zip experiences and a range of activities on the forest floor. From families and couples to groups of friends and adventurous individuals, there are experiences designed to bring people together and make the most of the great outdoors.

Sundown Adventures add an extra sense of excitement to the traditional Go Ape experience. As daylight fades, the forest comes alive with colourful lighting, creating a completely different atmosphere as participants tackle high ropes and obstacles after sunset. The experience lasts around an hour and uses Go Ape’s continuous belay safety system, while trained teams are there to provide guidance and support. Go Ape has also received the RoSPA Gold Leisure Safety Award in 2026 for the eighth consecutive year, recognising its health and safety practices.
